My roommate and I live in Park Slope on an annoyingly noisy block, polluted by honking trucks, loud traffic, yelling children, and, of course, Mr. Softee's unreasonably high-volume tune. So, we appreciate your pleas for silence, and have, in fact, have found honku therapy to be quite effective.
Here are a few of mine:
You honkers drive me
Bonkers, Get out of Brooklyn
and go to Yonkers!
Don't honk in town, And
maybe Mr. Softee will
turn his volume down.
Impatience and rage
Behind the wheel make you honk
Like and imbecile
Is it you or me,
Victim of insanity,
Honker or honkee?
